Join one of our mystery day trips!!! always a great day out enjoying new friends or catching up with others from previous trips.
Our travel club has no fees, just friendly people who respect each other and get along really well, we love them all, its amazing the great chemistry we all enjoy.
You are welcome to come alone on any trip, however we can guarantee you will not be lonely. We have fun!!! a different mix of people on every trip...
On our longer trips people from out of this area are more than welcome to join us and if you live in a town on our route we will pick you up on the way.
Same with the day trips, you can meet in Kapiti or we can pick you up if we are passing through your area to our destination.
Our monthly Travel Club meeting is held at the Paraparaumu RSA at 11.15am on the first Monday of the month, unless there is a public holiday that Monday, we then have meeting a week later. (Feb thru Nov) In December each year we have our annual Christmas Luncheon at Murrayfield in Levin with transport provided...
Approx 50-60 people on average come to the monthly meetings. Every second meeting we give out our newest newsletter hot off the press.
At the Travel Club meetings we discuss tours and day trips we have done and talk about the opportunity to join trips that are coming up in the future.
There is lots of variety and people choose from a very varied list of day trips.

In January we enjoy family day New Year Races (Jan 2nd) at Tauherenikau.
We go into Wellington or up to Auckland for special theatre shows.
This is the tenth year for our Travel Club, however Trev and Glynis have each had previous experience doing tours for many years, here and overseas.
No two trips have ever been duplicated as we personalise each day trip and tour away. With so many active members all picking different trips we have never had the exact same mix of people and new friendships are being made all the time. Most trips average 15-20 people.
Day trips use the 24 seater or the 41 seater, most longer trips take the 24 seater with fridge...
If we have more than 20 we often move onto the 41 seaters (we own them all so can change easily)
One 41 seater has seats that allow passengers to visit with each other, 8-12 can have a conversation in front section. Middle section all normal seating and back visiting area is also 12. This coach is also licensed for 17 standing if required by our clients. ESP Charters (groups who hire us)
The other 41 seater is a classic 1971 Mercedes in great condition... many groups love the history.
With our travel club we even escort trips over to Australia or Norfolk. Our trips to Australia are fully escorted small groups (8-10 people at most)
Longer trips to South Island and other New Zealand destinations average 14-18 people in a group.
Day trips vary as different trips appeal to individual interests. Popular destinations we can use our 41 seaters (often they are also used for charters by groups)
Mostly we use 24 seater coach in top picture and take its trailer when needed. If we only have 6-8 people we take our 10 seater high top minibus.
We do like to go to most of the plays at Circa Theatre in Wellington and always try to include dinner at Paekakariki on the way into Wellington...
Our group tours include trips to the beautiful Bay of Islands or The Coromandel Peninsular, a different region each year. We also do regular trips to the South Island specializing in a different area each time. The tours are listed on the events page of this website.
